Dr. Salvatore J. Palumbo, FAANS, FACS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon who performs a wide variety of intracranial surgeries as well as complex spinal surgery. He specializes in spinal reconstruction for both degenerative and traumatic spinal disorders. In addition to treating intracranial tumors and other forms of neuropathology, he is also an expert in minimally-invasive microdiscectomies and multi-level instrumental spinal re-stabilization procedures.
Dr. Palumbo completed his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Neurosurgery Residency at the University of Rochester-Strong Memorial Hospital.
